First Baptist Church Alief
We are Southern Baptist and Texas Baptist Proud. The church was first organized on December 10, 1952 and was known then as the Alief Baptist Chapel. The First Baptist Church of Katy, Texas was the mother church. The name of the church was changed from Alief Baptist Chapel to First Baptist Church Alief on March 11, 1956. Our sincere thanks go to the builders, pastors, members, and friends that worked diligently and faithfully throughout the building project. We are extremely grateful to God that they believed as we do today, that whether the world of the future would be bad or good, reverent or irreverent, orderly or violent, that First Baptist Church Alief would continue to proclaim the original model Church Covenant:
All Scripture is Inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16); God is the only true and living God (Jer. 10:10); The Fall of man (Gen. 3); The Way of Salvation in Jesus (Acts 4:12); Justification by Faith alone (Rom. 5:1); The Freeness of Salvation (Eph. 2:8); Grace in Regeneration (John 3:3, 7); Repentance and Faith (Acts 26:20; Luke 3:8; Acts 3:19).
